Twice Baked Potatoes


Twice Baked Potatoes

4 large baking potatoes
1/2 cups sour cream
4 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1 cups grated Cheddar cheese
1/3 cups milk
chopped green onions
bacon bits

1. Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Wash the potatoes good. Prick them with a fork. Set directly on the oven rack to bake.
Bake 45 minutes or until easily pricked with a fork.

2. Cool until easy to handle. Cut the potatoes lengthwise. Scoop out the insides and put into a bowl.

3. Mash the potato. Add the remaining ingredients. 

4. Place the potato skins on a baking sheet. Fill them with the potato mixture. Sprinkle with extra grated cheese.

5. Turn the oven down to 350 degrees. Put the potatoes back in the oven for about 20 minutes. Garnish with chopped green onions and bacon bits to serve.
