Pork Chops in Sour Cream Gravy

Pork Chops in Sour Cream Gravy

4 good-sized pork chops
2 Tbsp vegetable or olive oil
2 cups sliced onions & green peppers
1 cup beef broth
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/3 cups sour cream
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. milk (for thinning)
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

1. Place the oil in a large skillet or saute pan. On medium-low, add the pork chops. Brown on both sides. Remove to a plate.
2.Add onions and peppers to the pan. Cook to soften - about 5 minutes. Stir in the broth and pepper.
3. Add the pork chops back in. Spoon the onions & peppers over the top. Cover. Simmer 12 minutes.
Remove the pork chops to a plate.
4. Whisk in the sour cream and flour. Add the Worcestershire sauce.
If it's too thick, add some milk.
5. Add the pork chops back into the pan and heat them up.

Serves 4.
