Old Fashioned Rice Pudding



Old Fashioned Rice Pudding

3 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup raw rice
1/3 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup raisins (optional)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
cinnamon

1. Heat the oven to 325 degrees. Spray a 1 1/2 quart baking dish.

2. In a saucepan, put the milk, rice, sugar and salt. 
On medium, bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
Transfer to your baking dish.

3. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
Stir in the raisins and vanilla. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Bake another 15 minutes.
