Gnocchi with Meat & Cheese
1 lb. package of gnocchi
4 quarts water
1 lb. ground beef
10 oz. mushrooms
2 onion, chopped
minced garlic
salt and pepper.
1/4 cups butter
1/4 cups flour
1/3 cups milk + more for sauce
4 oz. each Cheddar & Mozzarella
1. Heat the water to a boil. Add the gnocchi.
Cook until it floats. Drain.
2. Brown the ground beef with onion, garlic and mushrooms.
Drain. Season.
3. Melt butter in a saucepan. Add the flour, salt and pepper.
Add milk. Stir until thickened.
Add the cheese. Stir to melt.
Add the meat and onions.
4. Pour the sauce over the gnocchi.
Serve hot.
