Grape Nuts Pudding
6 cups milk
1 1/2 cups Grape Nuts cereal
6 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
nutmeg
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 2 quart casserole.
Get a large pan to sit the casserole dish in for the water bath.
2. Scald the milk on the stove. Add the cereal. Let cool.
3. Beat the eggs, salt, vanilla and sugar.
Pour into the milk. Stir to mix.
Pour into the casserole dish.
Sprinkle with cinnamon. Dust lightly with nutmeg.
4. Set the casserole dish in the larger pan. Add water to the second pan - 1/4th of the way up.
Bake for 60 minutes.
Cool the pudding on a rack. Chill
Serves with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
