Tomato Soup Cake
2 Tbsp. butter, room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 cups cake flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream cheese icing
1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
2. Cream the butter and sugar.
3. Whisk together the flour, spices and salt.
4. Mix the soup with the baking soda.
5. Mix both the flour and the soup into the butter mix.
Pour into the pan.
Let cool 10 minutes and turn onto rack. Cool completely.
Put on icing.
Bake 50 to 60 minutes.
