 Sock It To Me Cake

1 package yellow cake mix

1 cup sour cream

1/3 cup vegetable oil or melted butter

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup milk or water

4 eggs

Filling

2 Tbsp. brown sugar

2 Tbsp. cinnamon

1 cup chopped nuts

Glaze

2 cups powdered sugar

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp. vanilla

1. Heat the oven to 375 degrees. Grease and flour a tube or Bundt pan.

2. Mix the cake ingredients for 2 minutes with a hand mixer. Pour 2/3's of the batter into the pan.

3. Mix the filling ingredients. Sprinkle on the batter in the pan. Top with the remaining batter. Smooth out the top.

4. Bake for 45 to 55 minutes. Test with a toothpick or skewer - it'll come out clean.

5. Cool in the pan for 25 minutes. Invert onto serving plate.

6. Mix up the glaze ingredients. Drizzle over the cooled cake.

Serves 12

*I always double the filling. Because I like the filling!  😁
