Shipwreck

Shipwreck 

2 white onions, sliced

4 medium potatoes, sliced

1 1/2 lbs. ground beef, uncooked

1/2 - 3/4 tsp. seasoning salt

1/2 cup white rice, uncooked

2 cups carrots, sliced

1 (10 oz) can tomato soup

1 1/2 cups water

Oven Instructions

1.  Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish.

2. In the baking dish, layer the onion, potatoes and carrots.

3. Mix the seasoning salt with the ground beef and then spread on top of the vegetables.  Sprinkle the rice on top.

4. Mix the tomato soup and water and pour over the top.

5. Cover with foil. Cook for 2 hours - until the vegetables are soft and the rice is cooked.

Crock Pot Instructions

1. Grease the crock pot. Then layer the onions, potatoes and carrots.

2. Mix the seasoning salt with the ground beef and then spread on top of the vegetables.  Sprinkle the rice on top.

3. Mix the tomato soup and water and pour over the top.

4. Cover with foil. (This is the best way to seal the crock pot.) Put the crock pot lid on top.

5. Cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until the vegetables are soft and the rice is cooked.

Serves 6.
