Smoked Sausage Cajun Alfredo


Smoked Sausage Cajun Alfredo

12 oz. smoke sausage, sliced
8 oz. penne pasta, cooked & drained (save 1/2 cup of the water)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
2 tsp. Cajun seasoning
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cups chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1 Tbsp. butter
salt & pepper, to taste

1. In oil, saute the sausage. Set aside.

2. Melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the garlic - saute 1 minute
Stir in the cream, broth and seasonings. Simmer.
Whisk in cheeses - stir to melt.

3. Add the pasta and sausage. Toss to coat.
Add reserved pasta water if it's too thick.
Season & serve..
