Gingerbread Bundt Cake


Gingerbread Bundt Cake

3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 cup butter, room temperature
1 1/4 cups brown sugar, packed
1/4 cups white sugar
1/4 cups oil
2/3 cups molasses
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
3 eggs
3/4 cups sour cream
3/4 cups milk

1. Mix together the sour cream and milk. Set aside.

2. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a Bundt or tube pan.

3. Whisk together the first 7 ingredients. Set aside.

4. In a large bowl beat the butter and sugars.
Add the oil, molasses and vanilla.
Beat in the eggs.

5. On low speed, alternately beat in the flour mixture and the sour cream/milk mixture. 
Mix just until combined.

6. Pour into the pan. Smooth the top.
Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Toothpick will come out clean.
Cool in the pan for 20 minutes. Turn onto a plate.
Dust with powdered sugar.
