Chinese Pepper Steak with Onions
Marinade
1/2 lb. flank steak, sliced thin
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. beaten egg
1 Tbsp. rice wine
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Sauce
1/4 cups water
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. ketchup
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. cornstarch
Stir Fry
1/2 onion, sliced thin
1/2 green pepper, sliced
1/2 red pepper, slliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. pepper
1/3 tsp. butter
1. Marinate the steak overnight.
2. Mix the sauce. Set aside.
3. Stir Fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
Add the beef. It'll cook quickly.
4. Add the sauce. Bring to a boil.
Add the peppers & butter. Cook 2 minutes.
Serve over rice.
Serves 2.
