Spiced Pear Cake
1 spice cake mix
1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 cups sour cream
1/2 cups melted butter
3 eggs
4 pears, peeled, cored & diced
Icing
2 Tbsp butter
1/4 cups packed brown sugar
2 - 4 Tbsp. milk
1 cup powdered sugar
1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
2. In mixer, mix all but the pears. Mix on low for 30 seconds.
Turn to medium-high for 2 minutes.
Turn on low and mix in the pears.
3. Pour into the Bundt pan and smooth the top.
Bake 45 - 48 minutes. Toothpick will come out clean.
Cool in pan 10 minutes. Turn onto serving plate.
4. Make the icing: Put the butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Heat until the sugar is dissolved - low boil.
Remove from heat - stir in 2 Tbsp. milk.
With mixer on low, add the butter mix to the powdered sugar.
Mix until smooth. Add more milk if needed.
Drizzle over the cake.
